Australian Missionary to Cycle Across America
MEDIA ADVISORY, July 8 /Christian Newswire/ -- Bernie Scanlon - an Australian missionary has chosen an unusual way to do something about poverty. He is cycling across America!
Bernie's Bike Ride as it has become known will be raising funds for Home of the Open Heart, a Christian ministry to HIV children in Thailand.
I just really want to help those less fortunate than myself said Bernie shortly before leaving New Your on June 27th. I believe this is a challenge that God has given me to do.
Bernie is cycling all the way to San Francisco a journey that is expected to take 4 months.
